LOL - The first advice you'll get from most of us on this board is to toss the Science DIEt - as it's been dubbed by nutritionists. I know the vet sells it, but the vet sells Eukanuba too, and it's not any better. Hills and Eukanuba are very smart in their marketing to vets, knowing that most people will believe that their food really is premium if it's sold by veterinarians. It's not.
The second advice you'll get here is to check out some of the threads on nutrition. There are several, and you'll find lots of information, as well as several links to more information. One of best links is to the canine nutrition guru's site:
www.greatdanelady.com . Be sure to look at the reference on the thread about dog foods containing the drug used to euthanize animals.
It may take your pup a little while to settle down in her new digs. It's all new and different to her, and she's probably a little nervous. I wouldn't worry too much about her not eating enough unless she starts losing weight quickly and hasn't started eating well in a week or two.
But please do check out the information on dog food. For what you're paying for Science Diet, you could be feeding her a premium food with plenty of nutritional value, organic ingredients (no hormones, chemicals or meats treated with antibiotics), and made from human grade ingredients, not what's left over on the slaughterhouse floor.
