Eye Boogers?

My 1yr old Catahoula, "Buckshot", keeps getting this "eye boogers"..
I jsut wipe them off his face whenever I see them...
Does anyone know why he gets them?

Diet plays a huge role in eye discharge. Are you feeding quality food?

allergies and/or irritants can also cause a discharge.Charlie sometimes gets them when we mow the grass (wheat like) down at our camp. He also sneezes if he gets a nose full of dust.An eye infection can cause the gunkier greenish yellowish ickies.
