Hey guys, its been a while since I was on here last, I went on vacation and *drumroll* Java moved in with me. I now have a resident puppy.
It started two days ago. I woke up because Java woke up and so I thought to myself "Better take him outside" so I did and he peed a lake! I was amazed. And he pooped too. So that was great.
Then last night I told myself "Better be extra ready to wake up to take him out at about five or so" but I didn't quite get up fast enough and he peed a lake on the tile. So I took him out and he pooped and then I mopped the pee(very nice and clear) and we went back to bed until probably sevenish.
So what I'm wondering is this: is it reasonable to try and take him out to pee and poop one minute later each day until he's making it until about six thirty? How much do puppies sleep a day? Since he moved in with me he doesn't sleep during the day anymore, mainly just at night, so if we go to bed at eleven then when is a reasonable wake up time?
Oh yeah, he's five months old(I think) and not terribly great with the potty training thing but he does okay. Thanks again for the help, you guys are simply the greatest.
