We took our dogs to day camp again yesterday and they played and played and played. Angel was so tired she could barely stagger (ahhh the silence, it was so nice). But she also didn't eat her dinner. She didn't eat all day today either. And we thought about it, we haven't seen her poop since Sunday (there was a poop in the house but we're not sure which dog did it).
Could she just still be tired and not hungry (and therefore not pooping because she wasn't hungry)? She seems to be acting normal, albeit less hyper. She's drinking, she's not hacking or puking, and it's not like she tries to poop and nothing comes out. She just doesn't poop. She piddles just fine.
We gave her some pumpkin and on the advice of the vet we're going to give some boiled chicken and white rice for dinner.
What do y'all think? Exhausted or sick?
I would rather not incur the vet expense right now but if she isn't interested in eating tonight and doesn't poop, I'm taking her in the morning.
