"Marijuana addiction is a very serious and sometimes life threatening dilemma." that'd be hilarious if it weren't so insulting to REAL people who have REAL addictions to REAL drugs. to equate or compare marijuana to real drugs like meth and heroin is not only ludicrous, but irresponsible to young people everywhere.

if i come across as rude, so be it, if it makes you open your eyes and realize that the sea of despair and addiction to marijuana that you've been thrashing and flailing around in is only three feet deep and you can get out of it just by standing up.

;)

 If you've never been in that position you have no right to say if it is hard or not.

People have different experiences even if they are on the same drugs. Some have different susceptibility to certain drugs. Some people find themselves in different positions and can struggle more with addiction. I mean to say if you haven't been in their shoes, not just their situation, it's unfair to judge them or their issues.

that's a good point and you appear to be a nice person, so i'll just end my participation in the conversation, as cordially as i possible can, by stating that if i ever...ever....hear anyone complain about how addicted to marijuana they are, i will not only call them rude names, but also point.......... and laugh.

i appreciate the friendly exchange, but after having discussed this for the umptheenth-hundred time, it gets tiresome beating that dead horse. kinda like politics and religion. after all this talk, my only point is:

Don't let your dog smoke pot~!~!

lol - I agree.

Having spoken to our vet about animals on drugs (a friend thought their cat had eaten acid - long story).. he said he has seen ALL variety of animals on all variety of drugs, and pot doesn't do that much, and is not that dangerous - ie - has never had an animal die from eating it.

As for pot being addictive. Nope.

People get addicted to the NICOTINE in the tabacco that they roll it with.

They do NOT get addicted to the pot.

You CAN become dependant on it - ie, feel you need it to relax, etc etc etc.

That is totally different.

LOL!!!!!!

In the same way people NEED that beer to relax at night, or NEED that glass of wine with their dinner...

They just don't feel "right" until they have had it!

*don't pass that my way - I quit :p *

:lol-sign:

I definitely can't picture myself addicted to it (it's pretty weak compared to other drugs) but, still *shrugs* Who knows what other people go through?
