dog insurance?

i'm thinking about getting some insurance for my 6mth old puppy and i'm curious about what other people's experiences have been...

RIot has pet insurance.
He came with a free 6 week program from the breeder and then my vet was offering out another 6 week program for Riot from... *trying to think*..

Shoot. I can't remember.

Apparently its really good to have though.

Does your dog show at all? Travel a lot?Live on a farm? Live in a busy city? definately a good idea!
