The new house we bought has a place in the laundry room where there is a double laundry sink set up now. There is more then enough room for me to take them out and replace it with a tub for bathing the dogs, so any ideas?

I'm looking for a used tub on kijiji, so far just a couple jetted tubs, I want to bath them, not set up a dog spa :lol-sign:, or do I buy a booster bath? The extra large one says it will hold Gage's weight, but is it worth it?

What would/have you done?

Might want to post in the grooming forum

When I've researched this topic, I've seen examples of home owners fusing the double sink... sawing off the divider and sealing it so it is one area. I don't think that would work for Gage! Others install a human bath tub. You may get more help in the grooming forum.

I imagine a properly installed human tub will be stronger and more stable than the plastic, four-legged Booster Bath.

For the groomer, it is beneficial to have the little dogs up heigh and in a small space so they can't squirm away. Conversely, the giants need to be much lower and a way to step into the tub on their own.

There is my problem, lol, I need something I can wash age in and the littles in, Gage will do steps so, the booster bath has the back cut out so he can easily step in and I can pull it away from the wall and walk around him and bath him. A regular tub bathing the little dogs in is a pain...literally. Hmm maybe a regular tub and a small booster bath that I can set in it for the littles?

I bought the Mustee Big Tub for my house.

We're also building a frame for it and raising it up higher, because the legs are short, and my dogs are kinda on the small side, and I'm tall... so unless we lift it up higher, I'll have to lean over to wash the dogs (what I do now in my parent's laundry tub) which hurts my back. So we're lifting it up on a frame we build ourselves.
