go to the same, very scary, place as mine when you see the term "TimberDoodle"?

I'm trying very hard to tell myself they have a labradoodle named Timber. I don't believe myself.

Is that the "breed" name or the kennel name? Woodcock are also known as Timberdoodles, and I think its a known kennel name for a few different gun dog breeds.

That would be a fantastic explanation. Thank you for renewing my faith in the world.

It was one of those "private drive" names I saw while driving to agility. Timberdoodle Rd." All I could think was, "Our hypo-allergenic wolf hybrids won't give you hives while tearing the flesh from your body!"

ROFL yeah, I see where someone could see that, LOL.

They probably named it Timberdoodle because they didn't want to name it Woodcock, lol

Of course, in certain areas of the country, and I think Vermont is one of them, Timberdoodle is the more common name for them. They've got a couple others, but I can't recall what they are off the top of my head :p

I really hope it's the latter and not the former! Though given that it's a named drive and not an ad in the paper, I have more faith.

A quick Google search brings up the bird, as well as several kennels who breed bird dogs. I didn't see a wolf-poodle cross (thank Dog!) .... but I'm sure it will happen some day. I never thought I'd see a Colliedoodle, but someone went and did it! :(
