Do you leave the lights and/or TV/radio on for your dog?

I leave the radio on but keep the house dark because they usually sleep when I'm gone.

We usually leave both a light and the TV on for the dog while we're gone. My wife argues that it's a waste of energy, but it's hard to know.

What do other people do?

I leave all the lights on outside and all the lights off inside. Dogs inside. There for a while I left the radio on, but the Birds caught on to that quick... now I hear the same news and commercials for years.

If no one is home we leave a light on. But Blaze has never been homealone for more then 2 hours in his life, except for one time and it was 13 hours (was supposed to be 8, but a 1.5 hour drive took 3 there and back, stupid traffic)
