There is a whole series of those tests that you can do- it's about problem solving. The faster they can get out of the blanket the better. Another one is to show them a treat, have them sit and wait, and put the treat under an empty can. Time how long it takes for the dog to get the treat. Another one like that is to put the treat under a dish towel and time it. There were some others, like having the dog sit a few feet away, and just smiling at it, and seeing if it comes to you based on the smile and how fast they come. Same scenario- put them in a sit and then call them but don't use their name and see if they react. They should not come to you if you don't use their name.
