You do know our pancakes and yours are different?

Yours are more like drop scones...... Ours are more like crepes.

the pancakes here in the us are COMPLETLY different from the CREPES (pancakes) in the UK, here in the us the pancakes seem a little more savory and thicker, fluffy inside, often dosed in maple syrup and butter

in the uk (lease for us) they were the french style pancakes very thin and could be cooked savory or sweet with things cooked into the batter itself or added afterwards (lemon juice and sugar being the one i loved most as a regular thing)

here in ct at least no pancake day...but we made "traditional" (crepes) pancakes just for memory sake lol!

my aboslute favorite pancakes of all times were from the panake house at centerparcs sherwood forrest) we always ate at the pancake house our last afternoon there , my favorite was a chocolate chip crepe with chocolate icecream and whipped cream...yes im a chocoholic, but being it was only a once a year occurance i never felt guilty for it lol!
whenever we had pancakes at home its usually lemon juice and sugar or RARELY chocolate syrup, never tried nutella on pancakes...
i do know nutella on crumpets however is *DROOL*

I am not a huge pancake eater to be fair.... lemon and sugar is nice though mmmmm

Nutella is a pure sugar rush though - it's kind of think and stodgy and chocolatey!!!!
