I know crate training is the best way to deal with a pup. Dennis and Emilio are now 8 mos. old. they have not been crated. I tried with Dennis when I first got him at 6wks. But after 4 nights of no sleep we gave in. They have started to chew holes in the carpet. They do it late at night or when I'm gone. They have boundaries with baby gates already , but now I have to crate them as they have caused some bad damage. Any suggestions on making this easier ?

I know Baxter does best in his crate if I give him a chewable treat--either a kong ball stuffed with peanut butter, etc. or a bully stick--I only give those to him in his crate--no other time. Seems to make it easier.

No bully sticks. Peanut butter might keep them from yelping.
