Wow. What an absolutely amazing experience.

Got back to town around 1:30 Sunday morning (after over 20 hours of traveling!). It was a long and tiring week, but so worth it! We weren't able to finish the school, but we all worked extremely hard and all had the experience of our lives.

The people we got to meet were absolutely precious. The food was amazing. Our group was the best - we all got along so well and it seemed there was laughing going on every second. It was just amazing... even if we did have to take cold showers! Lol

I can't wait to go back next year.

It is SO hard to decide what pictures to put on here, but here are just a small snippet of what went on this past week.

It had rained extremely hard and we had to get some more rock up to the school so we could pour some more cement. Yeah, that didn't work out too well. The truck ended up getting stuck, but we eventually got it up there haha

Bringing some cement up the mountain. So heavy... each bag was 110 pounds.

We didn't get as far as we had hoped on the outside (the rain definitely slowed us down!), but we still got quite a bit accomplished

Rain and more rain. It rained nearly everyday

What the school looked like when we started and when we finished the week up.

And of course, I couldn't leave that country without giving Rafael a Florida Gator hat and teaching him how to do the Gator chomp & say "Go Gators". Cutest thing EVER.

The end :D
