So I am in the market for a new coffee maker--and would like to know what brands people have and recommend. I would like one that can be set up on a timer to have my coffee all ready for me when I wake up! Any one have any suggestions?
I love my coffee--and like it nice and hot--so would like a good coffee maker this time!

Kevin has a Mr. Coffee. It has a timer to brew, a timer to shut off the burner, and more importantly, it's black and silver to match the rest of my appliances :rofl1:

He likes it just fine :)

My mom won't have anything but a Bunn. You don't need a timer for that one because it comes out nearly as soon as you start pouring in the new water, LOL

I love my Cuisinart FlavorBrew coffeemaker. It comes with a thermal carafe thingy that seriously keeps your coffee hot for several hours. You can program it. It brews pretty slowly (makes it taste better IMO) so make sure you program it to brew at least 20 minutes before you actually want it.

I use a French Press. My husband has a wonderful automatic feature. He not only grinds the beans, but makes the coffee and delivers it to me in bed. With a kiss even. best coffeemaker ever.

We have a Cuisinart. Got it at Kohl's. It has a standard 12 cup glass caraffe, but it's been rock solid so far. Makes coffee. Keeps it hot. Tells me when it wants to be cleaned.

My mom read some article on Yahoo that said the Micheal Graves coffee makers are the best. Micheal Graves is a Target brand but we couldn't find a MG coffee maker at our store... they got 'em online though!

We're on our 3rd Mr Coffee (ours has a timer). My mother bought us a Cuisnart that grinds the beans, has a timer and keeps the coffee at a certain temp- all the bells and whistles. Guess what- we used it three, maybe four days, and pulled the Mr Coffee one back out.

Another Mr. Coffee fan here. Love the timer and that it doesn't use paper filters, one less thing to remember at the store.
