hello my king charles is lil over a year i have noticed pretty much since we got him

at sleep time he snores a lot and has a very rapid breathing pattern and seems to be having a rough time comfortably getting air or it looks

but when awake or any other time 100% normal

only thing i notice is when he gets excited he has a reverse sneeze and snorts

so basically all day his breathing is normal but sleep is not

schould i be worried

I don't know if the snoring is anything to be overly concerned about and I'm not sure about the rapid breathing. Quincy snores like a buzz saw but will only go into the reverse sneezing if he pulls against the lead too much. I think he snorts, snuffles, and sneezes as a way of communicating.

Whether you should be concerned or not, I'm not sure. Maybe bring it up at your next Vet's appointment?
