Buying new treat/toys..

Is anyone like me in the fact that when they see a new type of treats or a new toy that they haven't bought for their dogs yet - you HAVE to buy it?

My dogs have a whole cabinet full and 4 large garbage bags full of toys - not including those in our TWO toy boxes as well as brand new toys they haven't been given in my closet.

Yet, everytime I go to a store with pet supplies if I spot a new type of treat they haven't had - I have a strong urge to purchase it.

My mom asked me WHY I do this - I NEVER buy anything for myself yet my dogs have tried everything imaginable for dogs - dog nachos, microwave popcorn, energy bars, vegetarian treats, you name it... it's in our cupboard.

I compared it to my mom HAVING to buy a new candybar just because she hasn't had that one yet.

Not treats so much as toys for the dogs... can't resist a new, plush squeaky for the furkids, or a rope bone, or a new Kong, or a new tug toy...
Luckily (or unluckily) I usually have my alter ego (twin sister) standing there, ready to slap me upside the head if I bring home one more toy.

I have squeekies shaped like eggplants, flowers, cars, purses, beans, coffee mugs, loafs of bread, shoes, burgers, every animal imaginable....

The muttlies are spoiled! I don't venture to Pet stores just because of that. I blow way too much money there!

Well, I work 5 dogs in agility. I buy new treats every week because I HAVE to. I spend about $6 on treats at least every two weeks, if not more. (And this is from a kid that doesn't have a job or chore money. I have to not eat lunch and save up the lunch money.)

If I have the money I do LOVE to buy my dogs new things. I am still needing to buy "crate mats"(bathroom rugs with grip on bottom), new collar for Marq, and new tennis balls. And Marq needs more money for private agiliyt lessons. Gah! I hate being broke!
