I don't think I even posted on here about Boomer having some problems the past few months. He started having the occasional seizure...I don't know, back in June or so. Started him on phenobarb and he had been relatively seizure free since then. On Friday the 30th he started going into seizures, and didn't stop . Rushed him into the emergency vet, they got him kind of stabilized but not conscious, we brought him home for the night. In the morning it was just still all bad...I brought him into my regular vet and we put him to sleep. We adopted him from a shelter back in 2001 as an adult, so he was roughly around 13-14 years old.
I miss him so much . He was such a good boy. He had been around for so long, it's so strange that he is gone now. You kind of take for granted that they will be around forever.
