Ugg.. why cant real people answer the phone

Im trying to pay a bill online, so I call customer service and Im talking to a robot.. and he's giving me the run around.. lol

I always wonder how they get a robot to answer your more specific questions! I mean if the computer is playing up the automated voiuce must find a solution! Whatever!

I know right...

The robot/computer.. started asking me what my social security number was and I said I didnt have one.. I do.. but I dont wanna tell a robot... so it freaked it out and directed me a "real" person.... finally!

We have those automated services no matter who you are calling. I think the only exception is MY doctor office. My old one had the robot too. They are slowly starting to eliminate them but not quick enough. I got to call the post office today and I really hope i don't get a robot man.

And you feel retarded right.. when you answer the phone and say hello and it starts talking.. I just hang up.. lol

I don't mind using automated services for minor things. I know it makes it easier for the company.

But WHY do they make it so freakin' hard to get a real person when you need one? Some questions can't be answered by a machine!

I was so mad the other day when my DSL internet was down. I couldn't connect to the Internet at all. I called the company's DSL support number. I got an automated voice message that said "For technical support, please visit our website."

WTH? How in the heck am I suppossed to get on a website when my Internet is not working? I called some different numbers and got a real person. But I made it a point to talk to a manager and let them know how ridiculous their tech support message was.

My husband was in the Spring store to pay his bill, and he's like I need to pay my cell phone bill.. and the guy at the desk was like.. we dont accept payments.. you need to go over the automated machine and pay it..

He was like.. "Im in a Sprint store.. and I cant pay my bill" WTH :lol-sign:
