Puppy bath

We brought our puppy home at 8 weeks and one of the first things we did was give her a bath in the kitchen sink. Just make sure you dry the puppy off well and keep it warm so it doesn't get sick.

yes it is safe. make sure you use a puppy shampoo or dog shampoo for sensitive skin. And as stated above dry him off good, especially with a small breed dog, because he could chill quite easily. Try not to bathe too often since you could dry out her skin but it's not too early. In fact this is a god time for the dog to get used to being handled. Wash everywhere on the body gently and give treats if she behaves calmly, she'll learn to accept handling.
