I'm coming to realize more and more that Kai and Zoey are total opposites! :lol-sign: I'm wondering if anyone else is in the same boat?

Kai is very light and agile. Zoey is built like a Mack Truck. Kai will walk quietly beside you, Zoey plows ahead of you. Kai is extremely sensitive and attentive. A quiet "ah-ah" will stop him in his tracks. Zoey doesn't respond to verbal corrections. Kai is cautious in new situations. Zoey is bold. Kai is generally fairly laid back, but can be induced into excitement. Zoey is always excited. Kai is food motivated, but not extremely so. He's a very picky eater. Zoey loves food more than anything and will eat literally anything. Kai doesn't like to swim, but Zoey does. Kai loves to chew, Zoey isn't a big chewer. Kai hates to be in his crate, Zoey will voluntarily stay in her crate. Kai will bark for any reason, Zoey has to have a good reason to bark.

There is probably more stuff. They have virtually nothing in common. I probably would never have chosen Zoey as a companion for Kai, but they seem to like each other. Zoey gets a little rough with him sometimes, but we're working on that... I guess opposites attract? :D

That's great! If the owners don't come forward will you be keeping him/her?

Here are a couple gratuitous pictures of the odd couple. :D

Aww, they're cute!

My dogs are indeed total opposites. One's big, one's small. Daisy is food motivated, Benji, not so much. Daisy is shy and introverted and prefers to be by herself, Benji is outgoing and loves to be with his people at all times! Daisy is very easy to train, Benji will look at you like you're stupid a lot of the time. I'm sure there's more, but I can't think of it right now.

lol! Good to know I'm not the only one then.

I have to handle them totally differently. I'm still getting used to working with Zoey.

Heavens yes! Phoebe hates toys of any kind, and Orson will turn anything into a toy. Orson wants to lay on you or as close as he can get, and Phoebe is happy with a good rub down then wants to go away to curl up. Orson complains about any and everything, and Phoebe takes it all in stride.

I could go on and on, but they are total opposites in everything.

My two are opposites in some ways, and totally the same in others.

They're both total snugglebugs. They both love to work. They both are very attentive and responsive.

And that's were it stops.

Flicka is very outgoing with people, where Pepe takes more time to warm up to them and trust them. Flicka's picky and Pepe will eat anything. Flicka's quiet, whereas Pepe has more of a voice (neither bark for no reason - but Flicka's bark is one or two woofs, and Pepe's just goes on and on). Flicka's big and Pepe's little.

lol it deoends with ours.
sophie and harry are SO alike. even downt o having sore hips. they are both well behaved on walks. they both understand english, they are both these heavy lumecksas (sp? - i suck) mac is fine boned but runs like shes about 50kg. she makes big galloping noises when she's running flat out.

buster is different again, while mac is really full on, and sophie and harry just sort of come and roll on you if they want attention. buster is a litle more reserved... well sometimes.

i dunno, their an odd lot to compare

Yes. . .they are very different.
Lucy is more bold, Millie is more sensitive.
Lucy takes a lot of time and patience to learn some things, Millie learns in a breeze.
Lucy is a cuddle bug and Millie loves her bed and doesn't usually relax enough to fall asleep on my bed. (It's a twin bed and too wobbly for her.)
Lucy is much more toy-oriented and Millie enjoys them sometimes.
Lucy loves her crate, Millie has never had one but I think she would really hate it.
They are both very affectionate.
Lucy inhales everything and Millie seems to have some sense about what not to eat. :p
They can both exercise forever but Millie has more stamina.
Lucy is very outgoing with strange people, save for a few certain people, and Millie is more reserved.

They are both very similar but I love their traits and personalities and wouldn't trade them for all the money in the world.
