Sorry if I am spelling it wrong, but does anyone have experience with sesamoiditis in dogs?
I am more looking for info on treatment. Our vet said bed rest for atleast 4 months, no running, has to be leash walked, etc. But I have also heard of laser treatment. I googled and looked online, but couldn't find anything helpful. We really don't want to keep her from playing for 4 months, if the second we let her romp around again it's going to come back.
The specialist around here we talked to a little, but he seems to be in it for the money. And he isn't super nice, so I have been trying to research it as much as possible before we jump into putting a bunch of money into the other vet. (Not that we aren't going to do whatever we can to make her comfortable, we just don't want to pay the specialist money if it's not going to help in the long run.)
