Another What Breed Is She

This is our Gracie. The hubbie and I got her from a lady who posted a give away ad in the local paper. She's 6 months old, super smart, and the biggest goofball and lovebug you'll ever see.

The lady said she knows she's part border collie, but I'll be darned if she doesn't look full to me. Someone had dropped her and her brother off at this lady's home, the brother was marked exactly like Gracie, but was red and white. (He got hit by a car and the lady didn't want to see Gracie go the same way, so she decided to give her up.) Which makes me think if anything, they're mixed with a spaniel tyep dog, but her hindquarters are definitely Collie, and her muzzle and head are all Collie.. What do ya'll think? Don't pay any attention to the evil red eyes, I didn't have time to fix those on the picture proggy..

I agree that she looks full border collie to me also... She could be a mix but not looking much like the other breed though. I'm not a border collie expert though!

I know several border collie golden retreivers and she looks much like them. I know one that has a boorder collie body and is golden and white, one that is just golden, and one black and white like your, the black and white look lot like yours. I can see a few of the golden retriever charachteristics in your dog. Also the behainour of your dog what you described is very much like the ones i know. I say that she looks just like a golden retriever border collie cross There wonderdful very friendly and energetic people and dog loving dogs. I think she looks big to be full border collie and her head looks a little golden retrieverish.

She does look very much like a BC though she also reminds me of my brother's dog who's a BC mixed with Australian Shepherd. This is him in the picture below.

If anyone asked me what she was I would say that she's a Border Collie. As a breed Border Collies are extremly varied, from beautiful fluffy show coat dogs, to rugged, tough, small, working Short hair dogs.

Border collies can come in black and white, tri-color, black and grey, and red and white.

I think she looks all boarder collie too. But if I had to pick a mix, I'd say brittney. Mixes are so much fun!

Thanks everybody for your input.. she's a sweetheart whatever she is.. A HUGE ham. I wish I could have gotten a picture to share with you guys of her tonight... A brand new roll of papertowels that I left on the chair (Bailey had an accident so I cleaned it up and forgot to pick up the paper towel roll afterwards)... My husband walked thru to the living room to check on her since she was being too quiet and yelled for me to come look... she'd shredded the entire roll on the couch and it looked like it had snowed paper towel bits! When she seen me, she just rolled over on her back with her legs in the air and looked up at me like "I did it, I'm guilty, but I'm cute!".. I couldn't keep from laughing as I told her bad girl.
