My son is involved with some sports....snowboarding in the winter and wakeboarding in the summer. He is also a musician. When he was younger, he played basketball, soccer, and baseball...as he got older he just didn't like the team sports any longer, so I didn't push him about it.

Thanks for all of your input, ideas and support. I appreciate it all.

Try putting him in something that takes his mind off of the divorce and something that will make him exhausted. When he goes to bed he will be too tired to worry about things. I know this is hard to do, but try. As grammy always says "Keep us posted !!!" :)

Good for you Dakotah...don't ever do it!!!

I'll try that Richie.....working and playing hard, and being exhausted gives us no time for mischief.

Thanks for the ideas!! ;)

watch the medication for sleep. My son-in-law had problems as a teenager sleeping so he was given medication for helping him sleep. I dont remember what they gave him but it turned him into a zombie! All he wanted to do was sleep. It was hard to have a conversation with him. He was in 2 wrecks in a year because he just wasnt alert. About a year after he moved away from his parents he gave up the medication. He's now normal. He has a job and family of his own and sleeps at night without medication. I'm very leary about medications. Just be very careful.

He only took meds for sleep for three or four days...it totally freaked him out!!! This was two years ago. I won't ever let him take it again...and he wouldn't want to. I have trouble getting him to take an advil when he has a fever.

Thanks,
Dena
