Agility training

Somehow I neglected to keep proper track of Georgie's qualifying legs - it can't possibly be because her first AXJ Q was over a year ago and her second not until this June - but she got her third two weekends ago and that is her title. It's kind of good she didn't Q this weekend because I mistakingly had her entered in Excellent instead of Masters, so if she Q'd we would have missed MACH points haha. OOPS.

But Miss Georgie now gets to start collecting MACH points. and I need to start counting. I never counted with Auggie, I knew 750 wouldn't happen. But now I need to count.

QQs won't happen yet, she has big fat 0 AX legs. Siiiiigh.

Payton had a phenomonal weekend last weekend, still no Qs but very very slowly we are getting there. I almost don't want to stop for the winter because I feel like the puzzle is almost solved and we are so close. I still need extra brainstorming with my trainer so I guess the break is fine, but it's almost agonizing how close we are and just... not quite.

I am so happy for you! I feel like I hit the same place with Gusto right as the season ended for us as well. Just *almost* there. It almost killed me to stop, but the only place with regular indoor trials here in the winter has footing that he has a lot of trouble with.

Luckily our online agility class started yesterday, and we are moving into the barn for the winter tonight, so I still have stuff to do and work on. It is just going to be a long time until February when we can trial again.

End of the trial season for us too :(. Probably for the best, but I miss it already. Babydog in particular needs some training gaps filled in though, as his enthusiasm is making him a hazard to himself. So hopefully after a little rest period we can get to work on that and then be back stronger than ever in a couple months! I hope!
