Here is a quality breeder for an Aussie. Just go to this website and follow the links. Depending on how far you live, this breeder can recommend other quality breeders possibly in your area. Most of these breeders deal in high quality show/work dogs but sometimes they have puppies in litters which they cannot show due to color or size, like Abby was. So, you may get lucky sometimes. Unless you want to show them! Anyway, check out this site, you won't be disappointed. Good Luck!

I would be severely disappointed in her if she decided she wanted to show dogs!

Thanks so much for the link. And for sharing Abby with us! Have you started a gallery in the photos area yet?

she is tooo precious. She has that perfect, alert, "I know what you are going to do before you do it" aussie air about her as well. I LOOOVE her markings you are right about that. My little Sunny is an aussie as well and is white and golden lab yellow, and has short hair. I do not lament the short hair, my vaccume is working overtime as it is but people always confuse him with a lab puppy. :) You have a beautiful little girl!

wow, she is adorable. how big is she. i only ask cause she looks small, compared to my puppy. i have a 13 week old aussie male, and he is already 28 pounds, and i'm afraid i already didn't take enough pictures of him when he was littler.

Abby was small because her mom was kinda small but still within breed standards. What made Abby even smaller was pure luck. She was the runt of the litter and once in a while a pup will come along that is very tiny and we jumped at the chance to have a smaller Aussie. The breeder could not use her to show or work because of her small size.

Anyway, at 14 weeks old Abby weighed only 7-8 pounds. :D

No, she's not a "mini" Aussie, just born small by pure luck, chance, genetics, whatever. Her mom and dad were standard breed size for the most part. Actually, "mini" Aussies are created taking two small ones like this the breeder said. Sometimes though you have genetic problems in "mini" Aussies because they are not typically suppose to be like that!

Regardless, Abby is our pride and joy. Hopefully she will lead a long, healthy and happy life with us.
