Of me riding Fannie. I know my hands are flying everywhere and stuff, but I didn't have the right type of reins for hunter/jumper at the moment, and I had tennishoes on. Not very good to ride in, but who cares if I'm not showing. Fannie's doing great though. At the last part, when we almost ran into the fence was because I gave her a confusing signal, so her focus went off and she tripped. Well here's the video anyway:

I know I probably sound like a parent here, but you REALLY should be wearing a helmet.

I already tried, PWCorgi. You know that saying about not beating a dead horse? You might as well save your breath.

I had tennishoes on. Not very good to ride in, but who cares if I'm not showing.
As someone who once had my foot stuck in the stirrup during a fall while wearing heeled paddock boots, I can tell you that is almost as bad an idea as riding without a helmet. Nothing is quite as terrifying as that moment when you hit the ground and realize your foot is trapped three feet above you, and your head is right next to your horse's feet. My head did have a helmet on, at least. Thank god for the heels on my boots, because my foot didn't go the entire way through and I was able to extract it while darling Boston stood like a rock.

Agree !!!! Proper gear is not only in the ring . We had show hats and boots ----and paddock hats and short boots with chaps. Safety first !

After watching the video I flinched as you approached the privacy fence and your girl shied. I am a parent with children who ride, use to manage a hunt barn and I would never ever allow anyone to ride w/o helmet or boots. My kids know that it is a major no -no and wouldnt (in my presence) dream of riding w/o either.
