Yah,that is what I was thinking of doing..it's funny though, he'll inhale a raw egg but will reluctantly eat a hardboiled one after a few minutes. There sure is alot of conflicting answers after researching other areas.

Oh years ago I heard somewhere? that cooking the eggs first was better for them,but that doesn;t really make much sense to me,after all Sage would rather eat them raw so that's what I'll continue doing unless their is some proof that says otherwise.

Sage kind of likes his new sock and he is acting proud like an old veteran,,I expected him to chew it off,but he seems to know it is helping him.

Thanx Grammy, I'll try that tonight, hopefully he'll keep the sock on, might try taping the top...It's happened to my Chessy before and as I recall it healed,but left an open scar. I'm sure it was from broken glass :( .

Any advise for treating a cut paw pad?? So far I've only used a little neurosporin,,,didn't even try to bandage it tho.

Thanks for helping me to put things back into perspective. I'm still very sad and miss them very much, but the other negative feelings are subsiding now. I'm counting my blessings and am rejoicing in what I do have and what I had shared and learned from Bear and Blue.

I can't help it!!!! If I could go back I would of waited...people I've told were surprised also,and would say - - Did ya have to put them both down? I know I shouldn't be doing this to my self,but I always do.

I've had a few dogs in my life-time and they've all been good dogs,but Bear and Blue were much more than just good dogs. No words can describe their loyalness and faithfulness. They were like a son and daughter to me...The legacy is gone.
