Good for you! Impulse is generally not a very good way to get a dog. You'll know when the time is right, and it will be an even better experience because you waited.

Thanks for the nice welcome! I am looking forward to getting to know you guys! @SaraB- I didn't have Boone as a puppy, so don't have any advice for bringing home a baby Pyr Shep, but I will tell you that just like any other puppy socialise, socialise, socialise. Teach the dog to trust you...

I have costco beds too- the dogs love them, they wash easily and seem to stand up to the digging and nesting that my dogs do. It also helps that they are a great price! I do love WestPaw beds though- I have two, and if not for the expense would have more. I have the bumper beds- fun colors...
