Thanks to everyone for the information. I went to dogwise and found the books and dvd you suggested.

I just want him to learn some basic manners, like sit, stay, come. He seems to be good with other dogs, so I just want to train him.

I recently adopted an adult dog and want to train him. Can anyone give me advice on how to start at home? I'm not really into classes.
