This is a friends puppy that I turned into a Kaleidoscope Print. Part of the appeal is this dog's patient expression. If she doesn't get noticed at once, she'll come at you from a different angle. Another part comes from intricacies which are easier to see on the full-size print than on this website; for example there is something very interesting going on with a paint drip.
The artificially applied brown gradient background in lieu of a solid color is unusual in my work, and this gradient sets Puppy Jail apart from everything else in my catalog at present. I framed mine in oak molding and have it hanging in my youngest child's bedroom.
