Marnie is the dog that is going to come live with us, if (and only if) it is a good fit for her, a good fit for my dogs, and a good fit for Ryan and I.
I wasn't looking for another dog. I'm still not sure that I want another dog. She's been with her foster (a friend of mine) for many months. And for many months I have stalked her Facebook page to see pictures of Marnie. Obsessively. I thought about her, a lot. The whole cliché bit about not being able to get her out of my head. So finally I said we can at least try. We can meet her, and get to know her, and if she isn't the right fit, well gosh darnit at least I tried!
First step is trying to get Frodo over the hatred I'm sure he'll have for her. He hates tall, skinny dogs. She's tall and skinny. Then we need to make sure that Siri isn't too much for Marnie to handle. She has had double FHO surgeries, and can get worried about super bouncy, out of control dogs. She loves her foster's french bulldog though, so here's to hoping. She also hasn't ever lived in an apartment, so we need to see how she handles that. Just...lots of "ifs" right now, so I'm not getting my hopes up.
Anyway, this is Marnie...

ETA: Forgot the most basic info. She's 6 years old, 80 pounds, and a Lab/Boxer mix.
