Truthfully, it would be the Chow. Even though Chochi is a chow mix, his temperament goes closer to the chow side. They are very difficult to train and act too much like cats. Who knows though, I might fall in love with another chow or chow mix at the shelture, so I can not be sure.;)

Probably a Collie. I loved mine to death but I don't think I'll be getting one in the future. I'm not sure I could pass up a smooth white collie.. but I don't have any plans on getting another. Love 'em though!

A Chinese Crested. I LOVED Ted, but he was SO much work. I wish I had known when we first got him what I was in for (I would have gotten him any way, I'm sure). But I think I was too young to understand, and to take care of him. He had skin problems later in life and actually died from blood cancer, after having a cancerous mole-thing on his skin removed two weeks before.
I miss him dearly, but I'd never own another one. (Unless of course I found one like Ted was, beaten, abused, sun burnt all to crap, and practically free!)

Probably a Lab. Unless I could find one like Virgo, without the annoying SA.

I've owned and fostered many breeds and mixes, and loved them all so it's really hard. If I have to pick one, I'd have to say that I don't think I'll have another Shih Tzu. I love them, but they just aren't the breed for me.

Max was a Shar-pei mix who acted nothing like a shar-pei. So I will never own a Shar-Pei who acts like one because I don't like aloof dogs.

I guess it doesn't apply as once, as we had more than one, but I won't have another Dachshund. Jesse wasn't very Dachshund like in temperament, which is what I loved about her. The other two though (Tia and a foster) weren't at all the dogs for me.

A really tough question since I don't dislike many breeds.

That being said, probably a Poodle. They are good dogs, but I just couldn't own one again.

Mav is perfect except for the hair and I think that's enough to keep me from getting another double-coated water breed again. :(

Labs, Poms, typical yorkies... which mine isn't... Um, Husky, unless I could commit to doing something extra fun with my dog-- like agility or something. They get bored to easily for my taste. I have absolutely nothing against beagles, but judging from the ones I've fostered and babysat, I probably wouldn't go for one myself-- on purpose, at least.

would have to be the chihuahua and cavalier king charles spaniel. From now on i'm sticking with my labradors and golden retrievers.

WHWTs, my one is enough. Love her to death, but want something more independent and not as soft.

I don't think I'll own another American Eskimo...Cody was amazing and my heartdog but he was not a typical eskie at all.

Labradors. I had 2 growing up and while it was the perfect breed for me as a kid, I prefer independent thinking breeds now.

Pembroke corgis-because mine died as a result of lymphoma and now I can't even bear to look at any corgis of any kind.

I don't think I'd ever have another beagle after Lilly. I would like my next dog to be a litle more reliable off leash.
But more importantly, I don't think any other beagle could measure up to her in my mind. So rather than always be making silly comparisons, I would rather get something entirely different. Still looking for that heart breed, I guess, although she is definatly my heart dog.

not a "breed", but I suppose I could include all designer breeds when I say this:

I'll never have another malti-poo. Snowpuff was the best little dog around and we were inseperable when I was a kid. I'm a big dog person now, and if I were to get a small dog again, it certainly wouldn't be a designer "breed".
