This... this picture still cracks me up. I was so mad at them for getting muddy on the last 100 feet of our hike because they had managed to stay clean almost the entire way. Their faces say it all.

I'll settle on one per dog

This was her birthday shot this year (she turned four) and it just makes me heart melt. She's such my heart dog, my first dog, and I love her in ways I cannot describe. That happy carefree smile always lifts my heart.

It's horrible lighting, grainy, slightly blurred, but it just kills me. So many nicer, cuter pics of Webster but this one is just so him.

This is my desktop wallpaper. Again it's not a perfect shot but it just embodies my girl. It's also our very last night at our old lake, before we moved states. The dogs and I had moved the previous winter but we hadn't sold the house yet -- this was the dogs' last visit, over 4th of July weekend. Mira learned to swim in this lake, and the three dogs and I spent countless hours, day, weeks hiking the trailing in all weather and just having a blast.

Favorite Brie pic. She spent most of the year in another state with just my hubby, so I'm glad we are at last friends again and she feels comfortable around myself and the dogs.

As Raja has gotten older, she's really turned into such a good dog. I'm always joking about her being awful, but she's really not anymore.

And Tempie. <3 Even after everything she's been through, she just has such a sweet and wonderful soul. And she will constantly just stop and gaze up at me with nothing but love in her eyes. I will never come across another dog like her, and I don't know what I'll do when she's gone.

I love this one of Kat

this one is a close second even though its not as good a pic, because its sooo Kat. If she was tired but things were going on she couldn't just lie down. She would sit and sleep, you know just to be ready, just in case fun happened you wouldn't need that extra moment to spring up.

As for pictures involving my child this year. This series was hilarous. There is not a pic where they both look 'normal'.
