I can't stand people like you. The religious hyprocrites. I have no problem with religious people who live the God way but you are just a hyprocrite. If you were so religious you would forgive or turn the other cheek, never fight back because it solves nothing. That is the main reason I don't go to church because it's basically turned into a who's better, richer, more flamboyant instead of living the right way. And if god's creation is perfect then there would be no room for mistake, if we were so perfect no one would have ever messed up.

Don't act like you know him and what he's about.

this tells me you have not a clue what you are talking about. perhaps read up on it before you comment. If you had looked into it at all you would know why God's perfect creation has become what it has. how that happened. But instead you come in flapping your mouth and accusing my husband of being something he is not. You don't know him. I do.

Everybody expects everyone else to be so D*MN tolerant until their views differ. Then the ones that cry out for tolerance become the intolerant. Funny how that works out ;) You see puckstop as being religious and preaching to you yet aren't you doing the same thing to him in telling him that HIS views are wrong. now THAT is hypocrisy ;)

hyp·o·crite n.
A person given to hypocrisy.

[Middle English ipocrite, from Old French, from Late Latin hypocrita, from Greek hupocrits, actor, from hupokrnesthai, to play a part, pretend. See hypocrisy.]

Source: The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, Fourth Edition

hypocrite

n : a person who professes beliefs and opinions that he does not hold [syn: dissembler, phony, phoney, pretender]

Source: WordNet ® 2.0, © 2003 Princeton University

hypocrite

one who puts on a mask and feigns himself to be what he is not; a dissembler in
religion. Our Lord severely rebuked the scribes and Pharisees for their
hypocrisy (Matt. 6:2, 5, 16). "The hypocrite's hope shall perish" (Job 8:13).
The Hebrew word here rendered "hypocrite" rather means the "godless" or
"profane," as it is rendered in Jer. 23:11, i.e., polluted with crimes.

Source: Easton's 1897 Bible Dictionary
So, no matter what else anyone might wish to call Puckstop, "hypocrite" doesn't fit the bill at all. I've yet to find him preaching one thing and doing another. Puck's interpretations may not be pleasing to all, but he stands by what he says and doesn't try to back out of what he stands for.

I'm glad I don't know him.

I really don't look into any creation crap because I don't care. All I know is that God created me and everyone else, I don't care to know God's reasons or motives behind us. Save the religious crap for someone who cares.

P.S Why is your husband so defensive when it comes to gay people? This is the second thread that he has stated how he hates the homo concept. I would talk to him about that if I were you cause something doesn't sound right to me. Your only defensive when you have something to hide.

Now I also do not support the Gay lifestyle although I do not hate Gay people. In fact I have always been up front and honest with anyone homosexual I have befriended about my point of view.

I think what turns most people off of it is the fact that it is SHOVED in your face and you are either forced to like it or labeled a homophobe. I mean Gay pride parade? I want a straight pride parade dammit. If they want to be equal they need to stop putting themselves in the spotlight and trying to force everyone to accept it. they should just shut up and live their life. I don't start protests because some homosexual doesn't agree with my straight lifestyle ;)

This always amuses me:

The Bible contains six admonishments to homosexuals and 362 admonishments to heterosexuals. That doesn't mean that God doesn't love heterosexuals. It's just that they need more supervision. ~Lynn Lavner

Hmm thats funny seems you must be confused

Homosexuality is an abomination to God's perfect creation. I do not hate Homosexual people, I am against the sin of Homosexuality. There is a difference.

Seems to me he states clearly there that he does not hate homosexuals. But I suppose you overlooked that since it doesn't fit into your agenda you have going here.

Why are YOU so defensive?

I don't see him being defensive at all but rather stating why he believes what he believes. You are the one coming in flinging your crap around about how he is a hypocrite and you hate people like him.

perhaps you should also look up the word defensive just as you should have looked up hypocrite ;)

I don't support gay pride either becuase I feel when someone puts themselves in a "I'm Gay" mindset they are not open to change or opportunity. I want to see human pride, everyone gay straight, trans everyone come together as the human race and not find ways to seperate ourselves.

I said Home CONCEPT, not the individuals.

Why are YOU so defensive?
I am so defensive because I hate when I have to listen to holy crap because of my sexual preference. You don't have to agree with the life I live but I cannot stand people who say I, along with many of my friends, are like a defect in the perfect creation.

The feeling is not mutual. I would LOVE to have a face to face chat with you. ;)

This has to be the most confusing paragraph...ever.

Apparently, YOU care about the "religious" crap.

Why is your husband so defensive when it comes to gay people?
Defensive?? Please show me where I was defensive about homosexuality? I hate the sin of homosexuality but not the sinners who are afflicted by it. For instance, my sister, whom I love dearly, is homosexual. Yet, I love her AND her partner. There is almost nothing I would not do to help her if she really needed me.

I would talk to him about that if I were you cause something doesn't sound right to me. Your only defensive when you have something to hide.
Hmmmm... Who is the really defensive person here??? You seem to be the angry one.

I have NOTHING to hide. Ask away. I got ALL night tonight. :)

OOOOOOOOH so basically your problem is that someone has a differing opinion from you. Like I said before from someone preaching such tolerance of other lifestyles you certainly are being intolerant ;)

Don't expect him to agree with your lifestyle when you are trashing his lifestyle. it doesn't work both ways sweetheart ;)

1.) You don't HAVE to listen to it. The fact that you are is rather encouraging.

2.) YOU are not an abomination to God's creation, your LIFESTYLE is. Lifestlye CAN change, mine changed about 180 degrees from about 10 years ago, praise God. (I was never homosexual, but a sex addict I guess you could say...)

What so you can SAVE me?
I can't save you, but Jesus Christ can. All I can do is lead you to him. It is a free gift He offers, but you have to open the door to get it.

But, no, I would love to have a face to face so that I could get to know you better. I am sure we have some common ground, SOMEWHERE, and as long as we are both willing to be honest, I bet we would have more in common than you think.

From there, who knows.....

I do believe in Jesus just don't believe in religion. I think its just another way for people to seperate from one another.

I'm not an evil b**** and I get along with everyone I meet (unless if they are irritating or annoying) :D

"Homophobia" is a crock of BS. It is a term, created by the Gay community to get them attention. Certainly, there are some who simply hate homosexuals. Ignore the ignorant.

Homosexuality is an abomination to God's perfect creation. I do not hate Homosexual people, I am against the sin of Homosexuality. There is a difference.
Here here, good post Puck. Because I follow the teachings of my faith, Im a homophobe? good thing I turn the other cheek.

Just so you know my brother is a homo and just got what he calls married. I went, I love my brother. I behaved to satisfied my family but it did not stop me from having a realistic, learning conversation with the minister who performed the service. we both walked away a little richer. I still believe they have no place in my world.

Whaddya know??? COMMON GROUND. Who-da thunk it, eh?

Actually, we agree on 2 points here.

1.) We both believe in Jesus. I'd like to know what that means to YOU. PM the answer if you want. (I'd tell you what He means to me, but I don't want to contaminate your answer.) :)

2.) We are not the mean and evil people we might seem to be on the outside to some. We TRY to get along with everybody, "except" when they annoy... (there is a lot more to that from my side... we can get to that later if you like.)

Puck , God puts a lot of non perfect creations on this earth ...He has a reason. Some of the most loving and religious on this earth have sexual differences . Also, because my dear grandson , Nash, is " different" should he be shuned ??? I know you love your Lord deeply and you are a good man. However, it's obvious that many don't like to be preached to ( or rather at ) here. I say , put them in your prayers and don't waste time ( theirs or yours ) posting your beliefs.

Grammy, you know me better than that. When have I ever not posted my views?

I hope you are not buying into the lie of "political correctness". Political correctness tells us that we should "tolerate" everthing. But it does not change people's hearts, it simply makes them be quiet. What good does that do?

The only way we are going to get anywhere in this world is if we have HONEST, OPEN and FREE debate without a list of "things that cannot be said". The key is not listing out our differences, but finding the common ground.

Sorry to step on your toes, but you often say "live and let live." I simply cannot do that. It would denegrate the sacrifice of great men and women before me who spilled their blood to provide me the right to speak my mind as a free man...
