I am a hypereducated uppity woman from the North East- a former English teacher who changed careers to the field of software engineering some time ago. I am a former corporate manager and a current corporate escapee. Being an escapee is to me my greatest acheivement! Now that I am able to wake up and remember what state I am in (USA state, not mental state!), and now that I have set my life up to include smelling flowers, I am finally able to share my life with my Tosca and give her the attention she deserves.
I am also a longtime cat lover and rescuer, and very knowledgable about cats in general.
I currently do contractual work, have opted for early partial retirement because I have realized that nobody ever rested on a deathbed and said, "I regret that I didn't spend enough time at work". I am very knowledgable in the field of online security and have seen some pretty messed up computers as a result of owners ignoring security. What you don't see CAN hurt not only your computer, but you as well.
