You know... "the look" the one you ALWAYS know has trouble written all over it. You don't know what they've done yet, but they look so guilty and give it away that they did something they aren't suppose to? Maddex doesn't have it yet, but I was talking to family back home and my grandmother was mentioning how the Dachshunds always give themselves away when they do something bad. Who else has a dog that does that?

Dance does. She holds her ears crinkled funny and gets a little sheepish grin. Keira does not. She just like "Yeah, I did that. What are ya gonna do about it?". And Ripley doesn't really do anything wrong. If he does it's usually an accident (like knocking something over) caused by over excitement and knows I'd now like him to calm down. Or if he's barking for a stupid reason and I look at him he puts his ears back and stops and gives a little tail twitch like "I'm so sorry. You'll forgive me, right?". Sometimes he looks really pathetically sad and worried eventhough he doesn't have a reason to. He's a Drama Queen and does not like it when he doesn't do something right.

Squash gets a look when he's about to do something, but it's not a guilty look by any means LOL.
This.

I can look at Yoshi and see the little wheels in her head going crazy as she tries to find out how to do something without me seeing.

She does know not to rip things up but occasionally she'll get a hold of a newspaper I didn't pick up or she'll kill one of her toys without me noticing and when she does that she doesn't get a look but she likes to put it in a pile and lay on it so I can't see it.

Zander did this today when I caught him in the game room snarfing old pizza crusts Jin left on the floor. He thought twice about snarfing one more as I was telling him "No!" and then ran away.

Sigh. Just like a child.

Not mine. Meg doesn't do anything wrong to begin with, and Gusto refuses to believe anything he does could possibly be wrong. No reason for guilt when you aren't being bad!

Yes, Dance gets a look before she does something as well. She thinks she's super stealthy and that I'll never notice. And actually, most of the time I don't. I have no idea how she sneaks around so quietly. Keira gets a look too, but it's not the same sneaky cute look that Dance gets. Keira just has no impulse sometimes so it's like "Omg flower! Chomp". You just see her eyes get bigger, lock in on whatever she's going to do and that's that. She doesn't really put much thought into the bad things she does. But she certainly has a screw you look if she just doesn't feel like listening.

Bandit looks tremendously guilty if he's done something he knows is naughty. Like got into the trash or pooped on the floor. i don't even get mad at him so I dont understand why the heck he does it.

Bahaha, these are funny as!

Abby occasionally breaks into the chook yard (half our backyard) to steal the chook scraps and chook poo no doubt. She can get in, but hasn't figured out how to get out. So she yips. Just soft, intermittent barking sometimes followed by 'gruff, gruff' mumble, grumbles - as I call them.

I trudge up the back, open the gate and even if I avoid eye contact with her, she will turn her head and not look at me until I coax her to come out. It's kind of disconcerting to have this little dog just completely ignoring me although she has barked to be let out. It's kind of a 'if I can't see her, she can't see me' moment. She is happy as soon as I shut the gate and she is on the correct side lol.

Roxie hides under the bed with her tail between her legs like I've beaten her, and I'm 99% sure it's because my mom thinks yelling at a dog/shoving its face in its poo for pooping on the floor is acceptable training and I wasn't there to tell her not to do that to my dog :\ On the rare occasion Rox poos on the floor now I just pick it up and continue on my way... She's a dog, **** happens:rolleyes:
