I'm starting to feel worse and worse about crating Boris at night or when we go out. The problem is that I don't trust him in the house still. He is out all day (I'm home all the time), and he still manages to grab things he isn't supposed to (we put stuff out of reach, but it never seems to be enough lol).
I'm going to let him free in the house at night next week end when we get rid of his collar (which he has so that he doesn't chew his stitches). I keep telling myself that eventually we will know when we can trust him in the house when we are out, but I'm not sure I will ever feel at ease about it, especially with his habit of trying to play with the cats (which don't like it much). And I'm worried of what he may do if he gets bored... Or maybe we have to wait until he gets older and calms down.
He's a bit over 6 months old now. Any advice of what I should do? How did you do with your dogs?
