My favorite thing for Summer is her 'jumpdance' One day I messed up and said both cues and it has turned into a weird kind of trick. Jump = jump high straight in the air. Dance= spin on your back legs. If I say both together really fast, she leaps up in the air as high as she can and does a full 180. I call it her ninja trick. ;)

I also like that I can point anywhere and say 'Go over there' and Summer will do it. It works wonders for photographing her. I say 'go get on that' and point at a rock and she poses herself, lol. Today I told her 'Go get over there' (She crossed a stream) then said 'Get on that rock" And she climbed onto it. She also runs on cue to a set place, which is how I get all her graceful running pictures (maybe I shouldn't out myself LOL! Her running pictures are frauds, they're almost all posed!)

I'm sure there's more... Summer has a pretty large vocabulary of things I never taught her.

Ummmm Mia gives high fives and that's about it lol. She also spins and sits and lies down, does that count? ;)

Hailey can do a back flip on cue, although now that she is getting older (12 1/2) its turning more into a sideways/half back flip.

Bobbi can pick up and ring (shake) a cowbell while dancing (all four feet going at once)

Petie licks his lips on cue...........cue word: Coffee

My dad would argue that the coolest thing Jack does on cue is get a beer from the fridge, bring it to him and then shut the door.

My mom loves telling Jack to blow bubbles in water.

Kyra sneezes on command, it's like her only trick, so she does it whenever she wants something. It's kinda cute.

Hmm that isn't exactly what I meant.. but thats really cool that he knows the cue of you getting your wallet means 'we are going for a car ride' :)

LOL, Sienna knows that when I put on my sunglasses I'm going out! Then she starts whining, because she's not sure if SHE's going out.

Her coolest trick is "find the car." Ideally, she will find my car in a full parking lot. We're getting there...they say dogs are really bad at generalizing, but she's generalized that "car" means ALL cars, and will run happily up to the nearest one. She's still learning that I want her to find my specific car. She has been successful a few times, though - I think it's pretty neat!

For Upendi it's a tie between opening her crate door and putting herself to bed and turning lights off (when she can reach the switch, the ones in my room are too high)

Mina is a pro at rolling over. :rofl1:

That's AWESOME. I've never even thought to teach that, but it sure would be handy!!

Saga will run into her crate and peer out at me when she wants her dinner. She gets her breakfast in a Kong in her crate when I leave for work, but dinner has always been out of a dish or another toy, but NOT in her crate. If I fall asleep on the couch, she will stay on the couch with me until I actually get off of the couch and it doesn't matter if my roommate and/or her boyfriend are walking around the house. If I tell her to go say hi she is off like a flash.

My favorite thing I've taught Kiba is doing the Mexican Hat Dance with me. Waving and Spinning too.

Stryder's is I taught him to speak.. but it's not barking.. it's his growling/roorooo sound he does.

Tsuki's... this is bad and I wish I hadn't taught her.. but when she wants a belly rub she will kinda jump on you and do a spin and be showing you her tummy... if your not paying attention she kinda rolls off the bed/couch. And then when she wants more she has to waggle her paws... so it's usually this 7 lbs of spinning/wagging pile of fluff coming at you. LOL.

Lincoln is he can jump really high in the air. His jump is getting lazy though and he barely leaves the ground... but with toys he's at least 2 feet off the ground. And it's not a cue yet... but he's usually for some reason or another rolling/wiggling around on his back.

I have Holly , the Boxer / American bulldog cross.

She loves to get a ball and bring it back .

LOVES to go to a park , ( i play lacrosse ) . so i take my stick and indian rubber ball , that the sport uses.. and i throw that down the soccer field.. ( goes alot further than anyones throw with arm ) and she brings it right back .

She can also speak , stay , sit pretty , roll over , Prowl - roam the yard and protect .

When I'm done working, as soon as I put the mouse into it's charger/holder, and Gunnar hears the little click it makes, he runs to the back door and starts barking because he thinks it's play time.

If I ask him "where's the kitty" he'll run to the far corner of our fence and bark- where he had chased a stray cat out of the yard months ago. Even though it was so long ago, he still remembers it and will run to that spot every time.

Both he and Daisy will high 5 on command. They both have things they'll do reliably on cue, but it's mostly obedience type stuff.

I imagine Bruzer could fart on cue, but that would really just be a timing thing, since he's always farting.

She will go give kisses to whoever I tell her to. And stop when told "no more kisses!"

She will also respond to full sentences "Zoe, go get a toy from your box and bring it to mommy"- she'll do just that. Or "Zoe, where is Mr Squirrel??" - she will search til she finds that particular toy. We are convinced she speaks English fluently!

YOu are Brilliant Scooter. Maybe that is the answer to Pepper's over zealous kissing. I think i love you for posting this.
LOts of dog blow bubbles in the water i know but i think it is super cool that mary does that. SInks her muzzle in deep and blows bubbles than slings her muzzle up so water sprays off in an arch. SHe does it everytime we get to water.

I think it is cool that I never have to call VIctor when we are out running. Just as I am about to he appears. He knows my timing, he knows not to go too far or stay too long. I don't think that is something you can teach. HE then taught that to Pepper. VIctor rocks.

Holly can also attack (ME ONLY) on command , i simply put my arm out straight , as if you were going to clothes line someone , and she bites SO HARD , until i say STOP . My dad/sister/mom/myfriends have tried doing it , and she shows absolutely no interest. But once i do it , she turns INTENSE

I'm trying to get Oakley to wink on cue, but so far, he just is NOT getting it...(that will be cool though, haha)

he spins, high fives, and crawls too...oh & when I was bored one day, I taught him to "go jump in the bathtub"....which has helped tremendously with eeeevil bathtime, LOL
