I was just wondering what damage everyone has experienced after getting a puppy lol. Penny is still going strong and it seems I never learn to just make sure she can't get to anything.... So far this is the list:

Several walls (chewed right through the drywall)
My bankcard
Our Candawonderland Tickets
My last paycheck
Our carpet on the stairs, she chewed a part off
She got hold of a pen and turned our beige carpet into a blue nightmare...
The bottom of our couch

Surprisingly enough she has yet to destroy a pair of shoes although she does enjoy untying my husbands right shoelace for some reason... lol

I'm curious to see your lists!

I got Lucas at 1 yr so he hasn't destroyed anything. But I'm looking forward to getting a puppy and have it destroy things, as weird as that sounds lol

The only thing Yukon destroyed was his first blanket, he peed and pooped on it so I chucked it in the garbage. He has tried to grab kids toys but we always traded their's for his and he gave up. He sticks to his toys now. He did chew one rung on my wooden babygate but not all the way through so although chewed it is not ruined.

Gunner biggest loves are shoes, bras, and my pjs. He did go through a phase of wanting to dig and eat house plants but since most are poisonous, I put them all up out of reach. He has also ate 2 of my son's homework paper, a $5 bill, 1 candle, and chewed a bit on two of my Harry Potter books...oh and the lens cover of my camera. Now he has about evry dog toy you can imagine with lots of different textures and tastes so he has about given up on "Mama's things"....well let's just knock on wood just in case. HA HA

Here's my boy's victim list:

1 XBox controller
1 XBox headset
3 pairs of flip-flops
1 pair of dress shoes
1 pair of men's work boots (brand-new)
1 soft-sided ice chest
1 leash
1 hand-embroided Chinese silk scroll
2 bathroom mats
Too many rolls of toilet paper to count (he has a weakness for Charmin)

Our yard looks like the Grand Canyon from all his digging. Can't say I blame him, though: it gets hot in Texas during the summer, and he's just trying to find a cool spot. Fortunately, he's finally over his chewing phase, and he's now reliable alone inside. He can bask in the glory that is air conditioning while we're at work instead of staying in the yard.

Shiva The Great Destroyer has pretty much put the old sectional out of my misery, a cell phone charger (small potatoes), a bookshelf that had Charley's Excellence and European Car magazines on it when she used it to bridge the gap between a table and the window she wanted to look out of . . . a host of smallish things, glasses, a drainer full of clean dishes on one of her counter-surfing expeditions . . . I know there is a long laundry list of things, but somehow they just aren't really significant enough to remember when stacked up against the joy of living with Shiva :D

The arm of a couch. Several dog toys and some slight scuffing of the table legs is all Jake's done in....pretty tame in comparision to some!
Ummm.....you are forgetting a bit :)

--he started to chew the bottom trim on the dining room buffet, and has a taste for the knobs on the doors of the buffet too

--my fave bra is now *ahem* almost strapless thanks to him

--all the soft blocks I have for babies are now Jake's toys

--all the stacking cups for babies are gone...he chewed them all! Along with some other toddler toys

--my slippers!!!!

My husky x has completely destroyed my patio furniture. Tore the seat off a patio rocker, ate through a wall, for some reason he's got a facination with cardboard. All the boxes that I have had out have holes in them.

Hunter chewed up one of my boots that I got in Scotland

He was so ashamed. I kept the chewed boot and threw the good one out. All I have to do is show him that boot ever once in awhile and he gets so sad. He's so sorry and has never torn anything up since...

Let's see where to begin.

Countless toys have been ripped in shreds
Bed sheets - We now just throw them some old ones to rip up in the yard.
Millions of toilet paper rolls
The lattace off of the entire back porch-Courtesy of Precious
Collars
Entire packs of gum
Drinking cups
Precious attempts to destroy Spud by grabbing onto the long hair on his ears and shaking his head as she would shake a toy. Spud endures... That's true love for you.
There's tons more things... But nothing amounts to the love they give.

Don't be like one of my neighbors !!! She " found" a lovely girl and is keeping her. A very young dog who must have had pups on her first heat. When she leaves the dog alone...she chews up anything and everything....she just lets her finish chewing as it's gone anyway ! She has to learn to be smarter than the dog !!! EliN is lending her a cage which I hope will help !
