The first thing that comes to mind is the fact that Jack has gotten physical therapy (which I drove a 4 hour round trip weekly to for months), acupuncture, and gets massage and swim therapy weekly.
Lots of people seem to think giving animals supplements is weird (I've gotten this for both dogs and horses). I don't even bother telling people how much I pay for kibble, I pretend I'm not sure so that I don't have to justify not feeding Dog Chow.
The fact that I take the dogs to classes even though they are adults tends to get a response.
People at the park think I'm weird for examining poop-lol.
Honestly though, as far as people who know me well goes, once I got the birds they seemed to collectively decide I was just off my rocker and not much I do with the dogs seems to surprise them anymore.
