What are Your Favorite Breeds of Dog?

That is a tough question! I love dogs in general. I have met and shared my life with so many different breeds, and even within the breeds there are exceptional individuals that really steal your heart!!! My favorite is a happy, healthy and cared for dog. One who is vibrant and radiates life. I have seen too many dogs of every type chained up and neglected and had my heart break with compassion for too many different varieties to choose a favorite. So I guess my favorite kind of dog is the one that needs me, because I sure need them. But as far as looks, trainability and activity, I enjoy a good working stock German Shepherd or Australian Cattle Dog, A smooth coated Collie is a gorgeous critter, and I love the personalities of a properly whelped and socialized Pit Bull. I just love dogs. I would never & have never turned away from a dog in need- or any animal for that matter. We are entrusted with their health and well being. My all time fave is a whole litter of clean wiggly puppies so full of it they are ready to burst! Oh I should have been a dog...
Border Collies are "my" breed.. I just LOVE their work ethic. 
I also still love Papillons. If I could only have small dogs, Paps would be my breed. I just love their sense of humor.
I like just about all herding breeds. GSDs, ACDs, Anatolians, Collies, etc.
I'm also fond of most Molosser breeds, Filas in particular. (Renee's gorgeous girls really got me interested in the breed.)
And Chow Chows, I could never forget them.. They're one of my all-time favorite breeds, I love the little grumpy guys.
I pretty much love all dogs, though, regardless of breed.

I like mostly the larger breeds but have only owned one purebred and he was an imported western german shepard. He was beautiful very large and VERY spoiled, he had the mane and the fluffy tail, unlike the american german shepard. Alas he has gone on to the Rainbow Bridge.
You can probably tell I love all my sooners....sooner one breed than another...LOL.

I love the big mutts, dobermans, rotties (as long as it's head isn't too big for it's body) lots of different breed of bulldogs and hounds, german shepard. Little breeds I like mutts (you just get all the great combos, cutest faces), poodles, dashounds, yorkies, beagles Oh it's just too hard to name just a few!
