Wait---he's in the UK. No pit bulls there. Perhaps some staffie? It's hard to tell.

phew i was worried with the pitbull references as i am in the uk. i keep thinking staff, but the vet said some sort of cross as she seems a bit heavy/large at 12 weeks. ( uk staffs are smaller than u.s. i think?)

I definately wouldn't say pure staff. Maybe a staff/boxer/labrador? I think there's more than two breeds in there. It's hard to say when they're this young. But definately a very cute pup!

Well... pits aren't *supposed* to be there, but I know just online a couple people with them so I wouldn't rule it out completely.

Anyways, I saw labrador/pit/boxer...

Definitely some bully breed, whether illicit pitbull or staffie...there are more than two breeds in here anyway.

when she was running around just now she was bunny hopping and bounding just like labs i have had in the past..... i would love to think there was some boxer in her... slight curveball here, the people who she used to live with were duped into thinking there was bordeaux in the mix....any takers on that one?

Could be. That could explain the pigment.

Red nose pit could also explain the pigment as well, though.

well i must say this is all very interesting! i have never heard of a red nose pit. are they common in the us? and her nose is very caramel coppery.. she does wrinkle up her head a lot!

SHE IS EXTREMELY GENTLE, IF A BIT STUBBORN WHEN SHE IS TIRED. AND HER FEET SEEM QUITE WEBBED.... THANKS SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR IDEAS GUYS!
