Weirdest Things Other "Pet Owners" Have Done Around You

This reminds me of one time when we were at the dog park with Violet, this lady kept giving Violet water. She didn't need any, I'd already given her some of mine, but the lady kept calling her over to her, and giving her water. But EVERY time, Violet would put her paw in the water, and knock it down. The water would pour out all over the ground, and all over her pants and I'd say "Oh, I'm sorry!" and she'd say "Oh, it's fine!" and then she'd fill it back up, and call Violet over to her, to give her some more water.... What the???

Yea we occasionally bring a dog to the local RenFair, and it seems you cannot go ten steps there without an employee offering your dog water. I appreciate it, but seriously... I know s/he's wearing a fur coat, but s/he JUST had a drink at that booth over there AND I always carry water and a bowl with me so don't give me the stink eye!
