It's HOT here! The house is just as amazing as I remember - better even, because now it's spotless and ready for our stuff. We are waiting on our movers to bring it all so we are hobo-ing it on an air mattress for now. We got stuck in some horrendous construction for 1.5 hours on our way here, in the 90+ degree weather...after about 20 min my a/c in my car was warm. The dogs were hot and miserable and bored and I was too. We get up to the "one lane ahead" and the lane was not even closed. Ugh. We stopped for the dogs to stretch, potty, and for us to get some food.
Pan and Kastle met in a dark parking lot our first night (Red Roof Inn). Pan growled at Kastle and postured, Kastle groveled and licked his buddy's face. That was pretty much the end of any hostilities. We are still being careful and primarily Pan is playing with the girls but he is doing fine with the little red boys loose and with Kastle (and him) on leash. We're just going to keep it low pressure/stress and super positive and try to set everyone up, consistently, for success. So far so good.
Anyway, Jason's been working since we got in so I've had loads of time to spend with the dogs and take pictures. Lots and lots of pictures (so many, I don't know which to post!). TN is so incredibly beautiful.
Our new house (the full set is HERE for anyone interested):
I've spent a lot of time out in the backyard with the dogs. Poppy and Limit have done a fairly thorough job at testing the boundaries for escape and everyone has enjoyed the yard immensely!
Pan follows the Corgis around like it's his job...
w/Eden
w/Poppy
Eden welcoming him to the family...
