Sorry about all the videos and stuff today. It just been one of those days. I have read both of these books and have both of the movies. I have been watching both since I was a little kid  . Not really childrens movies (though they were animated lol) But I loved them. I remember one night my friend Grace spent the night and we watched Watership Down. We were around 7 or 8 years old and it gave her nightmares. No wonder im such a freak lmao. We have both on tape and I actually just got PLague Dogs on dvd. I love this site right here with pictures from Plague Dogs. http://earth.prohosting.com/donjwolf/photogallery/plaguedogs/tpdgallery.htm

Plague Dogs is one of my more favorite books I have, depressing and slightly off-kilter though the author may be.

Lol yeah tell me about it. I remember I was sitting in my 6th grade history class totally sucked into Watership Down. When I showed my teacher what I was reading he gave me the weirdest yet impressed look. I wasent sure if it was because of the books text or its sheer size lmao.

The begining of Plague Dogs still makes me jump. Its an awesome movie on animal cruelty in Animal Testing labs. When I was little I always wanted a Jack Russel Terrier and to name it Snitter.

I'm a bit ashamed to admit that I only read Watership Down because of LOST  ! But I adored it, and have read it probably 3 or 4 times now. I've never seen the movie, but now that I've seen the trailer, I'm going to have to sit down and watch the whole thing!

I had to give up on Plague Dogs part way through. I just hate reading accents, and couldn't make myself focus on it as a result.

oh, I love The Tod's accent, dumbed down though it may be. Snitter was a Wire-haired fox terrier in the book and a JRT in the movie, I wonder why they made the switch? I guess a smooth faced dog is easier to draw a billion times.

Reet good mazzer!

I think your right about the why they changed Snitters breed for the movie. i do love the animation in that movie I think they did really well with what they had.

Well, it's either that, or they didn't have the courage of heart to draw satan spawn that much...instead they drew a minion. ;) Apologies to anyone who owns either of these, but WHFT are probably my least favorite dogs ever.

Lol yeah The Jack Russel stopped being my dream dog years ago. When an over excited little jack named Titan jumped up and bit me in the face over at a friends. I still have a small indent by my right eye that is a scarr from the bite.

I choose to enjoy them from a distance.
