and I manage to sprain my ankle.

We needed some extra work on two by twos and weaving, etc, so AgilityPup and I had dad take us to the field (I left my license in mom's car which was... 4 hours away). Had some good time working, some great progress, and then we went onto the field and since our instructor had just been there working her personal dogs, she had set up the 19 obstacle course that we're going to be executing as a part of our "graduation class" from Intermediate level.

I ran it clean a couple of times, was going to do just one last one for "good measure" and managed to land myself HARD on the edge of a hole (more like a dip in the ground) right beside one of the last jumps, went over on my ankle HARD and fell HARD.. ugh. Managed to hobble through the rest of the course just so Morrie had that, but I'm down for the count now.

Our instructor was there, training her personal dogs so she saw me run it clean, it's not like I won't pass, but I love our class and participating and the friendly competition in our gang of people and dogs.

And OW. :(

Agility, hmmm? ;)

Hope that ankle gets better quick. Try one of those wraps with the magnets. I've seen them do some really ubelievable things - would never have believed it if I hadn't seen it!

Hehe evidently *I* am not very agile!

Will look into one of those wraps, Renee, I have this really great ceramic knee brace that I use because I blew out a knee figure skating once upon a great youth, it's by Back On Track, a company that produces cottons for horse leg bandages and racehorse owners swear by them -- and I believe too, had a filly with bucked shins, never thought she'd race and she's burning up Mohawk and Woodbine right now -- too bad I don't have the ankle brace they put out as well as the knee one!

Aren't their products the most amazing things? I have the leg wraps and back pad for my horse, and couldn't believe the change in him while using the pad. He had Lyme a couple of years ago, and is prone to starting out a bit stiff and "dead" feeling. Just yesterday, I sucked it up and ordered a full blanket for him at Equine Affair. It came with free polos and standing wraps, so really, I couldn't afford NOT to buy it;)

They're so expensive but I would almost call them miraculous, the way that they work. I love that they have a line of braces, etc, out for people and if I had high calibre performance horses, I would definitely be investing in them!
