The vet explained to me when i lost one out of a big litter that some are just not ready to be born. THat they developed slower, or were fertilized last..he said there could be so many reason as well as a hidden birth defect. 9 is still a whomping big litter. OUr biggest ever was 14.

Just one of those things, I guess. He made it through the critical period (first 48-72 hours) without any red flags showing up, and then he just drastically went downhill. The vet couldn't find any physical reason for it. For a while we were keeping him warm and hand feeding him, but it just wasn't enough.

I'll take individual pics of the pups the beginning of next week. They are growing FAST!! And Teeny continues to be a fantastic momma.

I'm actually amazed at the number of people who love the all white pup!!! Maybe that's just because I really don't like white dogs . . . says the person who has a mostly white dog and adores her more than anything. LOL!

His name is JJ and he was the first one born and is a TOTAL nipple hog. I think he eats 23 hours out of the day and sleeps only 1 hour. LOL!

That's one of the males, Bullet. We're waiting to see if his silver color stays as it's one that we haven't really seen before. VERY interesting. Can't wait to see him grow!

the silvery blue fawn one (bullet?) is my fave too, that would be considered blue fawn in chis lol. hes adorable, as is the one with a heart on his butt!
