Day One of Paleo Challenge was pure fail.

Several cups of tea, mostly Earl Grey
Handful of animal crackers (this is when I realized the entire day was ruined)
Handful (or 3) of Popchips
Few mint chocolate cookies
Four slices of bacon + 1 egg (only meal or faintly decent thing all day)
Bowl of canned ravioli
Monster
Plain tortilla

Yeah. All the fail. I've felt like crap all day and there was no way I was cooking anything after noon or so when whatever I have finally settled into my lungs and stomach.

Ughhhh. I can't wait to get to the store tomorrow for some sushi, soup, and healthy snacks.

Yeah whatever I had settled into my lungs & stomach too, the first night I had whatever this is my stomach hurt so bad.

I haven't eaten a "decent" meal in like almost a week (I don't think eating quarter/half portions counts) I am just now getting my appetite back, it's hard to be enthusiastic about eating when you can't taste your food :/

Breakfast was a slice of brown toast with nutella
Snack was an apple
Lunch was a bagel with light cream cheese
Snack was about 20 dried, sweetened mango slices and a cup of tea with milk
Dinner will be a pork chop stuffed with sausage...lol so redundant but delish! and salad

Eggo waffle with peanut butter
Peaches (one of those little plastic dishes)
Leftover chicken parm cutlet - didn't finish
Left over tortellini.
Chunk of pomegranate.

That dog is the cutest doodle ever, I wish they all looked like her. She's a goldendoodle. :)

I had a chicken thigh and three cookies for lunch, maybe dinner will be better.

I feel i am the only person in the world that has never tried hummus and im not sure i want to cause it looks gross lol. ANYWAYS.

Today I had about a half cup of tuna salad (tuna, mayo, & diced dill pickles), 1/4 cup of fried rice, about a dozen fries with ketchup, and now im munching on about half a cup of roasted peanuts.
Also had 3 cups of water, 2 cups of coffee, and a cup of milk.

800 calories left for the day.
I add all my food I ate that day and I end up with 250-400 calories left to play with then I add my work out (aka job) and my calories jump up to 500-900 calories left to play with.
Boo.
At this rate, I'll lose 17 lbs in less than 5 weeks. Lol.

Today I had a bowlful of white chicken chili. Knowing I had a big workout tonight I had a big lunch and no dinner so lunch was more than a single serving. After the workout I had peanut butter on whole wheat bread :)

Another KIND bar, part of a garlic fennel chicken breast, lots of lime beans, and a string cheese. It's 10pm and I don't even feel like eating anything else, but I barely ate anything today. :(

Homegrown bacon + 2 poached eggies for breakfast.

Giant bowl brown rice/chicken/veggies "fried rice" I made the other night for lunch.

Green salad (romaine, tomatoes, cukes) with french dressing and a broiled homegrown pork chop (sorry I feel the need to specify because lets be honest... grocery store pork isn't very good with all the chemical crap they pump into those factory farm hogs...).

There will probably be more noms after dog walks... yay food!

We went out for CiCk's pizza tonight bad me, bad bad me lol ... But with all the weight I lost from being ill I figured they allowed me to be a little "bad" lol.

I wanted to eat something I really likes because my appetite has been slow to come back after being sick for some reason, like I'm hungry, like I feel my stomach is empty ... But nothing sounds good , does that make sense? It's hard to explain.

I had cheerios for breakfast, but there was no milk, so I just ate them dry. Lunch was a sizzling fajita salad from On The Border (sans the cheese and sour cream) with a dash of salsa to dress it. Dinner was pot roast, mashed taters and corn.

Breakfast was two eggs baked into a green bell pepper. I originally was going to stuff the pepper with ground pork, but I didn't remember to take the ground pork out of the freezer, so I just used eggs instead. Plus, that kept my calorie count lower.

Lunch was a tuna salad wrapped in lettuce, and then some lettuce dipped in hummus. I love hummus, just have to watch how much I eat because of the carbs.

Not sure what to do for dinner yet. I think I'll just make eggs in an avocado shell again and then snack on some roasted almonds.

I had a banana and yogurt for breakfast, a whole wheat sandwich with cheese and egg for lunch, kale lasange for dinner and am just now enjoying an orange :)

I have been terrible today. I haven't eaten a thing and it's after 3 pm. I didn't mean to let the day get away from me like that but alas.

Right now I am baking a batch of egg cups. lined the muffin cups with a slice of turkey, put a little spinach on the bottom and topped with the egg, sprinkles a little salt and pepper and then I will add a wee bit of grated cheddar cheese on top.

For dinner I am making chicken taco salads. Gotta be something quick tonight since Brian will basically have time to get home, eat and then head to mens group lol.

This morning I had yogurt & a protien shake.

Lunch was cheese enchiladas but I didn't eat the rice or beans, I have had a heck of a time getting my appetite to come back after being ill with whatever I had.
