Wow what gorgeous dogs!
I LOVE Halo.

My aunt and uncle have a fawn male boxer and he is the smartest dog I have ever met.

Looooove boxers!!!

Prefer mine totally natural, but I know a good looking boxer when I see one, and they are gorgeous!

Thanks everyone!

I have to agree that good looking and well built boxers are becoming more hard to find, but they are out there!

Barb04--Loki is 25.5-26" at the shoulder (haven't measured in awhile) and about 62lbs

Loki has a family history that has heart problems.
His brother had to be put down just before his first birthday due to having such severe heart issues just getting "happy" for dinner put him at risk for heart attacks.

His heart issues arose after his neuter, and the vet thinks (no way to prove it) that anesthesia is what triggered the worsening or start of the heart issues.
We consulted with our vet about it, and he believed that if we aren't having issues with him, and that he is monitored and not allowed to be bred, that we shouldn't risk putting him under to neuter him. As they are not sure what part of the neuter and anesthesia caused the problem.
Sadly his brothers owners did not do a necropsy, so i do not know any more details, and won't risk putting him under without those answers. He is from a BYB, and was my lesson learned. So now he lives happy and healthy, and is watched carefully.

And it is even more sad to note, that the owners of his brother WENT BACK TO THAT BREEDER for another puppy...but also that his sister (there were only three in the litter) was bred and could possibly have passed this on to another generation. SIGH

So that is why loki isn't fixed.
I am scared to put him under, as i do not want to lose my sweet baby boy.

^^Understandable

Halo has to be my favorite! I love a good brindle and less-extreme "squishiness" (there's a technical term for you...) on boxers.
