Can it be winter forever, please?

It was warm enough that NeighborDogs were out all day, and I may just kill them. Windows closed and the non-stop barking still kept me from napping well. They don't know how to keep their mouths shut. I have never wanted to kill an animal before these dogs, but I want to bury them 6' under. WHO THE HELL GETS AN ANIMAL THAT DOES NOTHING BUT EAT, BARK, AND POOP?

AND WHY DOES MY ROOMMATE WANT THE DOGS DRINKING OUT OF THE TOILET??? It's disgusting.

Thanks so much, guys! I swear I wasn't fishing for compliments and all the kind replies do make me feel good <3 I'm definitely not down on myself in a self deprecating kind of way (I'm happy with the pictures I take!) but I have a bad habit of looking at others' work and feeling self conscious about my own. I know I should only compare myself to how I was in the past... but then I'd always win LOL

Trent is at my parents' house because we just got done with a really, really hectic (and semi-short notice) move, and I miss my dog like crazy. Someone else living in the multi-plex has a big dog, too, with this booming bark that sounds very close to Trent's, and when I'm woken up by it I think for a split second that it's my annoying dog being annoying. And then I realize it's not and I feel like crying, because apparently this week I am super emotional.

Good news is that I'll be able to go back for him Friday. Additional vent/bad news is that I'll miss his birthday by a day.

Oh, and another vent. My mother lost her only source of income, and that is a really heavy blow. I'm going to try to help her find a job but she can only work from home because she has to take care of my sister. Bahhh. Legitimately thinking of offering to take pictures of people's pets for some extra money, but I'd feel like a scam artist accepting money for my "photography".

Wait, I also have another! My tablet isn't working at all and I have all of my textbooks (in e-book format), about 80 recreational books (including a lot of books about photography and photo editing), and quite a few pictures and notes stored in there. I use it for a lot of my classes because I don't have a laptop, and I don't know what to do without it.

Not a good week for me

The little robo hamster is Pan! I've had him for almost 3 years now, and he's just the cutest little guy. He was originally meant to be my sister's, but he ended up mine over the last year.

Equinox I also want to say I think your pictures are lovely and I would gladly pay you to take photos of our dogs and us and even , if you agreed to come to the track and get some photos of us riding on the track and what not

On to the venting lol ... I have been having some serious pain in the balls of my feet ... Particularly the left one. I looked at the left ball of my foot and it is bigger the my right and very tender to the touch ... So I looked up metatarsalgia on web MD which is always a mistake because it always scares the crap out of me. They recommend staying off the foot for 24 hours ... I can't do that

If I was in a position to pay for photography I would totally buy yours... or if I had to publish a book or something, hell yeah, I'd use your hamster in a teacup or your kitty or one of the many many amazingg Trent pics.

Remember they'll see your portfolio beforehand, they're going to have a pretty good idea what they're paying for.

Ugh, I feel like such a failure, especially since people had such high hopes for me. My closest friend in middle school is doing pre-med, she's gone and done charity work around the world, and I looked at the FB page of another middle school friend. She is going to Yale.
And what do I do? Nothing. I never even finished high school. This disability has prevented me from doing almost everything that has been important to me. I am so frigging tired of this crap. I just want to scream. **** this.

My cat is a horrible patient. I'm just glad he is MINE and not a real patient. A million pokes and 4 tubes of blood later, we finally got JUST enough blood to be able to send out (all the tubes we collected had to be combined!). Apparently he has lost like 2 pounds (he was not fat to begin with), and apparently he has gross teeth and needs a dental. Wondering if his teeth might be the reason why he begs for food and jumps on the counter and knocks everything down, but then when you put food in front of him... he won't eat.

I don't want to do a dental on my cat. After today, I don't really ever want to bring him back to the vet again

Been going through seasons of Supernatural on Netflix... It's starting to disturb me, how alike I am to Dean. I mean, not my life or anything, but personality and how we react to things, things we say, etc.

On the upside, I have not, to my knowledge, caused the end of the world. Yet.

Been feeling extremely pressured (by no one in particular, probably myself mostly) to be like everyone else and do the things that one is "expected" to do these days, but it's just not me. But I'm not really being me either, I'm just kind of being nothing right now, and I don't know what to do.

Lmao that was my thought too, "well at least my dogs are easy" haha!

Thankfully he was fine for his exam, growly but (to my surprise) no bite attempts. In the future I'll just sedate him for blood draws. The only position he was good in was an upside down burrito for a jugular...but, awkward position and couldn't find a vein.

It's a lot of stress for peace of mind. I know he's just having an IBD flare up but he's 13 so I wanted to be doubly sure.

Dont hate me...my vent is it is 73 degrees out today

Why is that my vent? Its wrong...too hot for this time of year and it feels like
all hell is going to break loose soon. DH got tickets to the Avett Brothers tonight for Valentine's and I have to get the kids out to my mom's and then downtown to the concert while this threat of severe weather is going on. I get really anxious about it and the kids do too as they were at her house once during really bad weather and she doesnt have a basement.

The wind is already whistling and its still mostly sunny....

(Oh an I am still freakin sick too....grrr)
